Oakdale, NY- Three members of the Men's Lacrosse team would have another honor to add to their long list of accomplishments in 2010 as
John McClure,
Kyle O'Brien, and
Kyle Rubisch were each named to the 2010 ECAC All-Star Team.
McClure, a senior attack and 2010 All-American for the Golden Lions, went on to lead all of Division II with 4.77 goals per game as well as 5.38 points per game. For his accomplishments as well as leading his team to their first NCAA Semifinal appearance since 2006,
McClure would also earn Nike/Inside Lacrosse Player of the Week honors two separate times during the season while also earning a spot on the ECC All-Conference first team.
As another 2010 All-American,
O'Brien would save one of his best seasons for last, helping lead his team to a 12-2 record in 2010. Ranked 2nd in all of Division II with 2.93 assists per game,
O'Brien would also be 4th in the country with 5.07 points per game. He would also earn first team All-Conference honors.
Joining his teammates would be fellow All-American
Kyle Rubisch. Also a First Team All-Conference selection,
Rubisch would tally 4 caused turnovers for Dowling this season, while ranking 2nd on the team with 63 ground balls
