TEAM SWAGGER WINS SECOND STRAIGHT ULTIMATE FRISBEE TITLE

Brookhaven, N.Y. - On Wednesday May 12, 2010, The Department of Campus Recreation wrapped up its Ultimate Frisbee Tournament with a highly anticipated championship game. Congratulations to “Swagger” who battled “The Mauve Avengers” in what was an intense and well fought finale.
The finale was a best of three series. The structure did not seem to affect Swagger as they beat the Mauve Avengers the first game 11-7, and 9-6 in the second game earning their second consecutive Ultimate Frisbee Intramural Championship.
The Department of Campus Recreation would like to thank all the teams that participated and looks forward to next season.
