On Thursday, November 12, 2009, The Department of Campus recreation wrapped up its Intramural Dodge Ball League with a one day double elimination style tournament. Congratulations to “The Mauve Avengers” who battled “The Platano Express” in what was an intense and well fought final.
The game of Dodge Ball can be at times intense and physically taxing, but don’t tell that to the teams that participated, as there was a spectacle of athleticism on show at last Thursday’s finale. “The Mauve Avengers” picked up the Campus Recreation Championship T-shirts and have earned the bragging rights, as this season’s Dodgeball Champions. The Department of Campus Recreation would like to thank all the teams that participated and looks forward to next year’s play.
